Could You Help a Dog in an Emergency? When a dog suddenly becomes ill or injured, the first few minutes can be critical. Whether it's choking, heatstroke, poisoning, a seizure, or a collapse, knowing how to respond calmly and effectively can make all the difference while veterinary help is on the way. Our Practical Canine First Aid CPD Course is designed to give dog owners and canine professionals the knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognise emergencies and take appropriate action when it matters most. Through a combination of interactive learning, practical demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, you will learn how to assess a situation, recognise signs of illness and injury, provide emergency first aid, and perform canine CPR.
